How it works
Start twelve months or more ahead: agree the budget and guest list, choose the destination and decide where you will marry legally. Book the venue and send save-the-dates by nine months, settle décor, food and music by six, send invitations and visa guidance by three, and approve the run sheet a month before.

Questions couples ask
How far ahead should we plan a destination wedding in India?
Twelve months is comfortable, especially for December and January dates. Six months is possible with flexible dates and a planner on the ground.
When should we send invitations to guests abroad?
Save-the-dates about nine months ahead, and invitations three months ahead, so guests have time for visas and flights.
